Is WordGOAT free?
WordGOAT is free to download and play. The game is supported by ads, so it never charges you anything.
Which platforms is WordGOAT on?
WordGOAT is currently available for iPhone on the App Store. An Android version is coming soon, and a web version is on the roadmap.
Which languages does WordGOAT support?
English, Persian, Arabic, German and Dutch. Every word list is written from scratch in its own language, never translated.
How does the Daily Challenge work?
One puzzle a day, the same for everyone, resetting at midnight. Solving it grows your streak and earns bonus hints.
What kinds of hints are there?
Three: highlight two matching tiles, reveal a clue, or place one correct letter. The Daily Challenge is one way to earn more.
Can I play offline?
Yes, fully. Every puzzle is already on your phone, and your progress is stored on your device. Some features, like ads, only appear when you are online.
The app is not working properly. What should I try?
First, make sure you are on the latest version of WordGOAT from the App Store. Then try closing and reopening the app, and restarting your phone. If the problem sticks around, email us and we will help.
